Controlled fresh air supply through the ceiling
The ZED 1000–1500 ceiling inlets provide consistent, draught-free ventilation for modern pig and poultry housing. Designed for optimal barn climate control, the ZED system features a durable mechanical flap that opens automatically, guiding fresh air along the ceiling for even mixing—reducing cold spots and preventing direct drafts on animals. Delivering up to 4,500 m³/h airflow at 30 Pa, these ceiling air inlets offer excellent sealing performance to maintain stable indoor climates across diverse barn configurations. Constructed from rigid polyurethane foam, they ensure superior insulation, durability, and long service life, even in demanding livestock farm environments.
The ZED 1000-1500 advantage
Even, draft-free airflow
Shutter design directs fresh air along the ceiling, avoiding downdrafts and keeping conditions uniform for sensitive livestock.
Central or grouped control
Inlets are self-opening and controlled by a pull rod (manual or motorized), with the option for delayed or grouped opening. Ideal for barns with staged or zone-based ventilation.
Flexible models suitable for different barn layouts
ZED 1000 fits tight spaces; ZED 1500 delivers higher airflow. The 1500 Double reaches 4,500 m³/h. Fast mounting with built-in flanges.
Insulated, rigid foam housing
Made from CFC-free polyurethane, the housing is highly resistant to temperature loss, humidity, and impact. This ensures energy savings during winter ventilation and maintains indoor warmth.
