Adaptable fresh air inlet for poultry & pig housing
The ZED 5000 ceiling inlet is a smart solution for delivering precise, controlled airflow in barns with higher ceilings. Built to integrate easily into standard or trapeze ceiling systems, it gently introduces fresh air into the feeding passage, where it warms before reaching the animals – avoiding drafts and ensuring animal comfort.
With an optional flange for adjustable extension, the inlet easily adapts to various barn layouts (up to 3.5 m ceiling height). The smooth, one-piece polyurethane frame resists dirt buildup, is easy to clean, and offers excellent insulation to reduce heat loss and condensation risk.

When paired with a trapeze ceiling, the ZED 5000 compensates for the system’s lower default airspeed by widening the opening, providing effective airflow and even enabling a cooling effect during warmer months.
