Adjustable recirculation gap
Conventional recirculation systems are driven with a fixed area ratio setting between the fresh air and recirculating air. This results in a significant portion of the fan capacity (up to 50%) being guided via the permanently open recirculation gap even with summer ventilation.
The ZLV Vario fresh air distributor’s sliding fan module makes it possible to variably adjust the recirculation gap. The advantage of this is that 100% of the fan capacity is available as fresh air capacity during summer operation. This means that the number of fresh air chimneys required can be halved by using the ZLV Vario fresh air distributors.

Maximized fresh air capacity
ZLV Vario switches between winter, transition, and summer modes via a climate controller, delivering 100% of fan output as fresh air in summer. This can halve the number of fresh air chimneys needed. Motor-driven units supply air over the roof, with a sliding fan module to adjust or fully close the recirculation gap for higher capacity per unit.
Efficient air distribution
Evenly spaced ZLV units create uniform airflow, improving climate stability. Suitable for both negative and equal-pressure systems, with optional additional fan integration.
