Developed and tested in extreme cold regions, this fresh air inlet is purpose-built to reduce ice formation, maintain steady airflow, and avoid the energy losses caused by forced ventilation.
With high airflow capacity, three sizes to choose from (1300, 2100, and 2900), and full compatibility with light filters, bird protection grids, wind deflection hoods, and motorized operation, the ZEW Professional is a durable and flexible solution for year-round ventilation control.

Freeze-resistant design
The inlet’s internal flow geometry shifts the meeting point of warm indoor air and cold outdoor air to reduce ice buildup. Verified in -33°C field tests, it keeps air moving when others freeze shut.
Lower forced ventilation, higher energy savings
By avoiding ice blockages, the ZEW Professional lets you skip unnecessary forced ventilation. This means you ventilate only as much as the animals need – no wasted heating energy, no cold drafts.
High airflow with low pressure drop
Handles up to 4,000 m³/h at 20 Pa, depending on size. Air direction and speed stay consistent, helping you maintain optimal temperatures and air quality – even in tightly sealed barns.
Insulated, durable construction
The housing is made from rigid polyurethane foam, combining insulation, durability, and easy cleaning. Smooth surfaces reduce dust build-up and simplify hygiene protocols.
